Goals

Recently I re-discovered these key reasons why people fail to achieve their goals.

1. The goal wasn't big enough. Make it big! If your expectations are set to low, you'll justify not making it. Big goals will create a different energy.

2. Not written down. In your head isn't good enough. On paper makes it not-so-easy to change your mind.

3. No time frame. A realistic time frame on your when by date allow you to understand what needs to be done and by when.

What would you wish for?

As a boy, I'd ponder over a find of a magic Genie, complete with three wishes.

I had big expectations for my Genie. Sometime after I learnt not to expect so much and there are no genie's to be found. I was a 'dreamer'

Shame on any who suggest we ask for less or not ask at all. This leads to Initiative being lost.

I will be my own genie now.

A fan of choice

I know too well - what I choose is what I get - whether choosing consciously or not.

Many times I've had outrageous expectations in difficult times and went on to achieve most incredible results. Other times I've chosen to head a direction I'd rather not but continued anyway. Is this called getting lost?

The situations and outcomes you have today are seldomly accidental. While I believe there's room for some coincidence. I bet this; what you choose is what you get and this is how you got here.

For whatever reason you've chosen to be here. The outcome of your choice is yours, not mine.

I hope you find something here that enriches your outcomes.
